Portuguese for Foreigners

More and more people are coming to live and work in Portugal and very often they are faced with difficulties arising from knowing little or no Portuguese. The courses in Portuguese at Beginners and Elementary Levels aim to give students the ability to understand and express themselves in Portuguese in situations which arise in everyday life. At higher levels the aim is to develop the student’s communicative competence with a view to attaining native-speaker proficiency on conclusion of the course.

Level: Those students who have prior knowledge of the language will be required to do a diagnostic test in order that they may be placed in a class of students of the same level.
